"Karyn Critelli at the Village Clockmaker was able to make repairs to my 110 year old eight foot Westminster Chimes grandfather clock that other horologists were unable to do. This is a wonderful clock that is a family heirloom and it was distressing to not have it functioning perfectly. Karyn was able to step into the breach and restore the moon phase dial and the chimes to perfect working order. In addition, the clock face had deteriorated even though past attempts at restoration of it had be performed. Karyn brought the face back to life and it look beautiful. "My husband and I have a rare, one-of-a-kind grandfather clock built in the late 1800s. Its unique, tall, majestic and has enormous sentimental value since it's my husband's grandfather's grandfather clock. We have moved that clock from Jacksonville, to Tampa, to Atlanta, to Dallas, to Chicago and finally to the NE in Stamford CT. Needless to say, we have had numerous "clock repair" people work on our clock. When we serendipitously found Karyn from Village Clock Makers, our search for the clock master ended. Karyn has cared, correct and fixed our clock for over 16 years. She is a little wisp of a thing and has to stand on a step stool to reach the mechanisms but she knows exactly what she's doing.
